In a social-media post described by Fox News, Glanville said she had been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, coccidioidomycosis—also known as Valley Fever—Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis. She also said she has a “fungal ball” in her face that needs to be surgically removed.
Glanville said she expects to undergo procedures involving metals from old dental work and breast implants. She wrote that she was facing four to six months of daily IV treatment but had seen “very little improvement” so far. She also said she could work only on her podcast and did not know how she would manage the situation mentally or financially.
The reports attribute these diagnoses and treatment details to Glanville’s own posts and statements. Available reporting does not establish an independently confirmed cause for all of her symptoms or show that every diagnosis has been medically verified outside her account.
The latest treatment has affected her eating, weight and daily routine
In Instagram videos posted on Sept. 6 and Sept. 7, Glanville showed herself preparing and receiving IV infusions. She said she was taking one infusion overnight and that the full regimen lasted about 18 hours a day. E! News reported that she identified one IV medication as Imipenum and said a nurse came for four hours each evening to administer another infusion.
Glanville said the treatment had affected her appetite and that she could not eat normally. In one video, she said, “I feel like death. I look like death.” She also said the only time she left her home was to record her podcast.
Fox News previously reported that the infusions had made it difficult for her to sleep, eat and take part in normal activities. Glanville previously said she believed she had picked up a parasite after visiting Morocco in 2023. Fox News reported that she later experienced facial paralysis and was initially diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema.
After she posted about facial disfigurement in December 2024, she described receiving different explanations for the condition. The Looker reported that she said a doctor suspected a “jumping parasite” at that point.
In June 2026, Glanville said she had been diagnosed with a benign tumor in a lymph node in her face. E! News also reported that she had previously connected the problem to ruptured breast implants, saying silicone had reached her lymph nodes before the implants were removed. That explanation remains Glanville’s account; the available reports do not establish it as the confirmed cause of her condition.
What is still unresolved
Glanville has said that imaging, including an MRI and ultrasound, gave her answers about her long-running health problems. She also described a technician and radiologist as seeing something moving in her face, but the reports do not provide independent medical documentation of that claim.
