Trend Methodology
How TrendXDay observes momentum, rejects unsuitable queries, verifies source pages, and decides which events deserve publication.
From signal to published explainer
We record each appearance of a trending query, including its approximate traffic bucket and position. A score combines momentum, freshness, persistence and demand. High absolute volume alone is not enough.
Queries we reject
Weather, live scores, lottery results, navigation terms and queries without a clear event are not suitable for an explainer. Rejected observations remain internal and never receive a public URL.
Publication gate
An event needs repeated observations, at least three usable source pages from at least two publishers, deterministic content checks and an independent factual review.
